Welcome to McDonald's Los Cabos, México
Images and memories of ancient cultures, temples and pyramids"long, sun-drenched beaches, beautifully decorated Colonial churches in cobbled-stone streets, red-tile-roofs, little towns" - this is Mexico.
But Mexico is also entering into the new Millennium with its 100 million people, becoming one of the top 15 economies in the world, being one of the major exporters (cars, computers, electronic appliances, etc.) due to its free trade agreements with the US, Canada, the European Union and other Latin American countries.
México is also one of the major tourism destinations in the world so McDonald´s is present in the most important tourist cities of the country such as Acapulco, Cancún, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, Guaymas, Oaxaca and more recently at Los Cabos in Baja California Sur and Playa del Carmen in the Mexican Riviera.
McDonald's first restaurant to open in México was on October 29,1985 in the southern part of México City. As of November 2002 there are 270 restaurants with more than 11,000 employees throughout the country.
